2008 Whitehouse,London

A pair of Listed houses, dating from the 1730’s, have
The brief required a striking reception area and several editing suites. Inspiration comes from artists such as Richard Wilson, Gordon Matta-Clark and Rachel Whiteread. In the all-white reception area the removal of existing walls is graphically shown with red section lines. A fragment of wall is retained as the reception desk. Individual edit suites have been created in what used to be the upstairs bedrooms, with a bespoke screening room located in the basement. The office's users and the council’s conservation officer are both delighted with the refurbishment.
